Yesterday was such a busy day. My husband and I went to Our first Military Holiday Party. I guess I failed to mention he is in the U.S. Navy. I’m very proud of him to say the least. We had a great time but oh how I missed our kids.
Heres a picture of us from the party.
While we were away my aunt baby sat for us. She introduced Little man to a new activity-Painting. According to the video she took of him on her phone he’s pretty good with a brush. He created a beautiful painting mostly splatters of paint but beautiful nonetheless. I plan to be there next time he paints. He also has become an official crayon user. I started him off a while ago on regular crayons I must admit he only tried to eat them once. I bought him a coloring book and I dated every page when he would color. It’s amazing how well he picks up the crayons and scribbles. We even had a moment with the white crayon he didn’t seem to understand why nothing would show. It was pretty funny. He still doesn’t have a favorite color though.
Little lady I heard was being her diva self. It’s amazing how different my children are. Little man has always been very passive he’s learned to throw a couple of fits here and there but not on the regular. Little lady was born screaming. I tell my husband she got that from him, being so picky and demanding. I kidd I kidd!!! She has begun to talk alot more too. Almost like she wants to tell us how her day is going. I guess it gets old quick because soon it turns into a fuss and then crying.
As always I try and document each and everything my kids do I thought i’d try and get a picture of both of them for a change. I think the last time they were in a picture together was at least 2 months ago. Before it was a piece of cake. I guess I have hit the “I’m not gonna stay still, no matter what you do, one of us won’t be looking at the camera stage.” Oy! So much for gettin a great picture of them.
I introduce you to little man and little lady.

The rest of the weekend will be just a relaxing day with the family. I really thought today was sunday. My days are officially mixed up. I hope everyone has a safe rest of the weekend. Especially out here in San Diego where many aren’t use to the rain. DRIVE SAFE!
