Final Destination!

Hello everyone we are officially on the East Coast .. Jersey to be exact.

We arrived Tuesday after 5 long days on and off the road.

We left Friday morning after lots of drama. We were scheduled to leave Saturday may 15th but realized the movers and the people shipping the hubs car would all be done by Tuesday evening so we were excited to leave earlier as in Wednesday the 12th boy were we surprised when all went down hill.

The movers were ok a little rude but very efficient. they finished moving us in one day and tho they forgot to take some stuff here and their we were just left to clean up no biggie. oh ya and ate some of my chocolates that were suppose to get packed. who does that? they were very sweet with little man and little lady.

The people who were to ship the hubs car started playing games and after being very open with their 3 day window(which they failed to mention upon booking) on the 3rd day our car was still not picked up so we decided to leave it behind with my parents until we can get it shipped by a real company. and we got our deposit back.

we finally left our home in San Diego Thursday to leave the car in Orange county with my parents. Little man got a fever that night. by this time i was convinced that California did not want us to go . I pulled an all nighter in the ER room with little man picked up his meds went back to my parents home picked up the little lady n the hubs said goodbye to my famly for the 100th time (ok really just 4th time but it felt like 100) and hit the road at 6am Friday morning in our HHR

we made some stops along the way

we drove from orange county, CA to Albuquerque, NM

from Albuquerque, NM to Oklahoma city, OK

from Oklahoma City, ok to Troy, Illinois(we were suppose to stay in st Louis but we got scared and kept driving lol)

from troy, Illinois to zaneville, Oh(we were suppose to stay in Columbus Ohio but we got scared again lol)

from zaneville, Oh to Jersey!!!!

I cant find my camera so no real pics but i must say the most memorable pic i have is this one of little man and little lady we were at a rest stop taking a break.

we also tried some 1st on the way

we tried WHATABURGER… that was ok

we tried White castle… i had the kids pose with the little burgers i think the little burgers are cute but nothing to go crazy about

we tried quaker steak and lube by accident that was delicious!!!

all in all the trip was a succes and the hubs and i can scratch one thing off our list … traveling cross country coast to coast 🙂

I should be back to normal next week with more news and updates finishing up this move and hopefully with a new look now that the Big move is close to done!
