Since returning to work little lady has become extremely attached. We have been having bedtime issues for the past week. She will literally get up seconds after doing the same ritual we have done for all her life and scream bloody murder. The Hubs has been a trooper. He does the 2am wake up call along with getting little lady and little man ready every morning while I get ready to go to work.
The night before last the hubs literally fell asleep in the living room with her. She had been crying for almost an hour and a half. Last night I had her in my arms until she fell asleep at 11pm. It’s becoming a ridiculous habit.
She shakes she screams she threw her self out of her crib. She’s a smart cookie. She sleeps with one stuffed hello kitty. That same hello kitty was the step she used to climb out her crib again RI-DI-CU-LOUS
I know what you’re thinking. Let her cry it out. Yeah I wish we could… Oh we have tried but the neighbors are ready to call Child protective services on us. We really don’t know what to do.
Nothing is wrong no sickness, no ear infection, no teething, she’s not hungry or wet she just wants MOM!
I feel bad I could easily lay her in bed with me but I don’t want to have my child get use to sleeping with us.
My parents actually had my little brother (the baby in the family) in bed til he was old enough to be in his own bed he was a handful too but didn’t cry til your ears hurt like little lady.
My husband’s family is very much like us. We will put you in your crib in your room and let you self sooth but this little lady is not self soothing.
How should I deal?
In other new little man is so smart. We recently been working on his shapes and he can now point out a couple (pictures to come)
He is also increased his vocabulary and we now encourage him to use his words. He will ask for certain things and now when he sings along to Ni Hao Kilan you can hear the actual words. My little man is such a big boy.
Happy Tuesday !
