It’s been quite the summer with Nintendo! Little Man is at the age where he wants to be just like daddy. Daddy’s favorite past time is playing video games so it’s only natural Little Man wants to enjoy the virtual world with dad.
As we shared back in June. We were asked to be a part of 3 meses de 3DS (3 months of 3DS) The kids were super excited to get this new gadget in but I could already see Little Man was the most excited.
Little Man ended up being the one to understand the game skills better than Little Lady. It was easy for him to navigate and start his game when we allowed him to play.
From the built in features to the online game play this was the prefect summer activity for Little Man. We learned to set rules on the amount of gaming per day as well as learning that the 3DS was a luxury and it could be taken away for bad behavior.
Little Man really enjoyed exploring the 3DS. It traveled with us and was perfect when we needed a little distraction from sitting in the car or even on the plane back to Jersey.
While little man didn’t understand at first that he could play with others online we soon learned how fun Mario Kart 7 is with others.
We also had fun playing Mario Tennis. Little Man saw a couple of Tennis matches from the Olympics and I tried to explain how we can play outside with friends and also inside at home when our friends weren’t available. This was super fun too. Little man became quite the expert at the mini games.
We really enjoyed our 3 meses de 3DS. Little Man has become a Super Mario Fan and an awesome Photographer. We hope we continue to gain friends and receive swap-notes!
Disclosure: This is a compensated post for a series of post for Tres Meses de 3DS. However, the above are my true and honest statements.
