This year our little family will be attending our first Mexican Independence Day Festival in Philly. We are so excited!

As I spoke to my mom earlier today she reminded me that the fight for independence wasn’t just a fight for freedom but it brought communities together in harmony. We hope you have learned a little but more of our cultura Mexicana and that you celebrate the harmony and friendships in every battle. I continue to grow with my children as I embrace more of what my cultura was Then and what it has became Now.
