At the age of 3 years old Little Lady finally asked us to get her ears pierced!
We did it on October 1st! If you follow us on Instagram you would have seen the results first.
I first wrote about piercing Little Lady’s ears in 2010(long ago)
I waited almost 2 weeks because I was still scared to see how they would turn out if she would be OK with them or not.
We’ve already lost one earring but the hubs quickly recovered it and of course I panicked!
We went to our local mall to find a Claire’s which I had called in advance to make sure they could pierced. Little Lady’s ears.
When we got there we were all excited got Little Lady to pick out her earrings and we went back and forth between purple flowers and hello kitty.
The girls at Claire’s were amazing they were able to pierce both ears at one time! Perfect! No need for double pain reaction or having to hold Little Lady down in case it really hurt.
She didn’t cry she just yelled “Owwww” and looked in total shock!
Soon it was over and a total success she looked so cute!
Her ears healed up in the first week She did amazing!
Things that helped:
-Talking about it before it happened
-Letting it be her decision
-Allowing her to choose her earrings
-Giving pain medicine 30mins before process.
-Following routine to clean ears for healing.
I was so overwhelmed with emotion you would have thought she was having her quinceanera. My eyes were watery and I was so amazed at how big she looked with just getting her ears pierced. At that moment she totally lived up to her nickname my Little Lady.
Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. I mention Claire’s because this is the store we got her ears pierced and we were happy with the service.
