We visited The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place as we’ve made it a tradition since moving to NJ. This year we explored in costumes for the first time too!
Every year our family tries to make the experience of Halloween Spooktacular super special. Sesame Place goes all out for Halloween and we love the transformation of the park. While we didn’t do many of the rides this year we had so much fun going around the park trick or treating and going thru the mazes.
Here are Little Man’s and Little Lady’s Must Do activities at Sesame Place for Halloween Spooktacular!
Abby Cadabby’s Magical Halloween Maze
Every year this maze is different. We love walking through and helping Abby on a secret mission! At the end is an awesome surprise trick or treat station as well as a photo op with a character! This maze is so not spooky and perfect for younger kids!
Scavenger Trick or treating stations
There is no need to dress up to join the fun of trick or treating at Sesame Place. The stations are all over the park and sometimes just like in Abby’s maze you stumble upon them while having the best fun! We love knowing the stations get moved around every year so it keeps us on our search along the park. The goodies are kid friendly you can count on some delicious snacks, boxed juice and of course candy!
Rubber Ducky dresses us as Ernie but he is HUGE- a total GIANT! We love visiting him every year and taking a pictures with him. The kids get a kick out of seeing how big he is and always want pictures in front with him.
Photo ops with Sesame Pumpkins
Sesame Character Face Pumpkins are at the entrance of the park. The kids think they are real carved pumpkins and visit them each year and ask us to carve one just like it at home. I love the creativity and amazing photo ops during this time of year!
This year we even decorated our own pumpkin at the park. For a low cost you can pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and decorate it with sticker faces, markers, and glitter! The kids enjoyed decorating their pumpkin and were so proud of the finished look! We hope to make this a tradition because the kids had such a great time doing these at the park for the first time!
We love seeing the decorations at the park most of all
Sesame Place gets us into the Halloween spirit with their characters dressed up in fun costumes. We also highly suggest the neighborhood parade and Character dine with me experience!
The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place is open now until 10/27
