Family Dinner under $15: Shrimp and Mushrooms with Wild Oats Pasta

With the efforts my family is making to eat healthier and as a family I am happy the Wild Oats Organics line of products at Walmart is finally in-stores!

I shared back in April that this Organics brand would be at Walmart stores and the variety of products is  surely growing. My store has pasta, pasta sauce, olive oil, brown and wild rice, quinoa and peanut butter!

So the hubs and I jumped into the kitchen and created another fast and healthy meal with some Wild Oats products!  This dish cost us under $15 and it’s made with some Organic products a total winner for our family!


We cooked up Shrimp and Mushrooms with Wild Oats Pasta!!!

Ingredients Yeilds 5 servings
-2cups of Wild oats Organic Pasta Sauce
-Wild Oats Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-12oz of cooked extra small shrimp
-8oz of sliced Mushrooms
-A handful of basil leaves
-Wild Oats Spaghetti 


1- Cook the Spaghetti with Olive Oil


2- Saute mushrooms with a drizzle of olive oil.

3-Add the 2 cups of red sauce and fresh basil leaves 
4- Add cooked shrimp
5-drain pasta and serve!
TIP: For additional flavor salt to taste and add fresh garlic!
This dish is so easy and so delicious! The family is learning to try new things and this dish was a winner! Glad that Wild Oats organics is affordable and available at Walmart!
