The Three Kings are almost here! Celebrating los reyes magos is a tradition in my family, My grandmother made this day very special for us by giving us something to wake up to celebrate the kings visiting baby Jesus. Today, I try to keep the tradition alive by still surprising the kiddos with something special but even more so I take the time to sit with them and make something to also remember the tradition of the Three Kings.

To decorate our home I made magnets with the kiddos. Now mind you if you have little ones like me the magnets won’t come out perfect but still very cute. It’s an easy DIY activity the whole family can make.

Make Three Kings magnets for your home or give them as gifts!

Draw your King

Draw on your circle to get an idea of what you want your king to look at. The bigger and simpler your draw the easier it is for kids to paint.

Add some eyes and mouth.  Add details to the head pieces using extreme glitter paint. Once dry add your magnet to the back with wooden glue.

Optional- Once your painting is dry add some gloss and let it set.

feliz dia de reyes

Hang them on in your homes or give them to loved ones as gifts. These are so easy to make you can make several sets.

Consider talking about the three kings with your kids when you’re making this craft.
