It’s officially Women’s History Month  and as we continue to make history may we always remember to celebrate and empower each other! As a Walmart Mom I’m proud to share the great things Walmart strives to do for our communities including women owned business. Three years ago Walmart launched a global Women’s Economic Empowerment initiative. They aimed at improving the lives of women around the world. Part of that commitment was to source women owned business and make their products accessible to us the consumers! It’s a win win if you ask me!

This year they are featuring 6 women owned business with products displayed in-stores and online. But Did you know Walmart has more than 10,000 products online and in stores that are women owned? Ya, pretty amazing right?  One of those brands is a favorite of mine Child of Mine made by Carter’s! I’m sure you’ve seen their adorable shoes, socks and mittens.
