As the temperatures begin to change my kids eczema is more prone to appear. I am always on the search for products to help prevent the irritation and scratchy skin. We’ve been dealing with their skin since they were babies and as they grow the triggers change and we continue to try products.
We were invited to try Shea Moisture products from the Raw Shea Baby collection. Since we saw dry patches appear on little lady first I wanted to try these on her to see if they would help soothe.
We tried the Baby Healing Lotion and Head-To-Toe Wash and Shampoo. Both of these products have raw shea, chamomile, and Argan oil . They both help to calm and comfort kid’s skin.
The lotion left little lady’s skin soft, smooth and moisturized through the day. I love the natural scent too. It isn’t sticky and doesn’t leave greasy residue.
The head-to-toe wash is was light a little really goes a long way. We got enough suds to lather using a washcloth.
Both products work great together and have helped keep the eczema dry patches and irritation away.

Help prevent eczema with these helpful bath tips:
- Sulfate free soap- Sulfate causes drying and eczema symptoms to worsen. Try the Raw shea, chamomile, and argan oil wash and shampoo by Shea Moisture instead.
- Oil in baths- Add a couple of drops of chamomile oil to kids bath water. It’s gentle on the skin and helps hydrate.
- Washcloth- Use a bamboo or 100% cotton wash cloth both are gentle for the skin.
- Cool water baths- Bathe kids in cooler water. Bathing in hot can cause skin to dry and further flare up skin.
