Little Lady has been asking to add photos and other decorations to her room. We decided to DIY a picture frame but one she can constantly change with her favorite photos. We found a cute Poultry wire frame that would be easy to embellish with our own handmade flowers.
We love crafting together so making a few crafts for one special DIY Poultry Wire Floral Picture Frame was a must!
This DIY is great for displaying photos in your home or office!
Make A Floral Picture Frame
I shopped for all my supplies at my local Walmart. I love the wooden supplies available for DIY crafting.
For this DIY you will need:
Poultry Wooden Frame- CraftWood Frame 8×10
Small Clothespins or mini clothespins
String or cord
Printed photos layered on cardstock
Scissors
Optional- Mod Podge and Glitter
DIY Glittered Wooden Clothespins
This is totally optional but adds such a cute element to this DIY floral picture frame! Using Mod Podge we layered a thin coat, dipped in glitter, and layered another coat of Mod Podge for sealing purposes and DONE!
DIY Streamer Flowers
Using streamer and your hands you can roll up these flowers in no time. Follow the easy tutorial in this video below.
Putting it all together
Once your flowers are made and leaves cut out, it’s time to put it all together. Using a glue gun secure the leaves down on the top left corner of the frame. Then securing the flowers with glue over the leaves. Repeat using only one flower and one leave on the lower right of the frame.
Optional- Add string or cord to the back of the frame to hang or simple leave on a dresser or desk to display.
Lastly using the clothespins, secure the photos on to the poultry wire. Play with the sizing of your photos to fit at least 4.
I loved making this with little lady because it made her so happy. She misses her grandparents so this is a perfect way to keep them close and see them everyday. It’s also a perfect way of adding some spring decor into her bedroom.
