It’s been an adventure of a year and we are ready to wrap it up! We can’t thank you enough for following along on our 2016 adventures. This month we celebrate 7 years of GUB and we’ve been so fortunate to have a growing community of GUBfriends.
Here is a look back at some of our favorite moments for 2016!
Our family went on a road trip to North Carolina for the hubs family reunion after learning more about our Ancestry thru DNA results. We also took a family trip back to California after the kiddos hadn’t seen their grandparents in over a year! We also filmed as a family for a special assignment from Walmart (Check our photo above as we waited to be on set) It was a year of many triumphs and lessons but overall we are happy to continue to celebrate our new and old traditions and make memories as a family!
Little Man- My growing boy is now in 3rd grade. He’s had an amazing year and a few growth spurts as he nears my shoulder and gains the appetite of 3 hungry men! We surprised him during our road trip to North Carolina for his birthday to an amusement park that had a Plants vs Zombies ride. He currently loves all things PVZ, Minecraft, Lego building, and video games! His favorite books are still Captain Underpants and Diary of a Whimpy Kid.
Little Lady- My baby girl! Oh man is she growing into an opinionated, confident, sensitive young lady. She has the heart of gold and can tell you all the chisme all the time! She’s in 2nd grade now and learning about animals and fairies are some of her favorite things! She loves Num Noms, collecting crystals, continues to ask for a baby sister (Lord help us with this one) and loves being in front of the camera!
The Hubs- Hubs successfully finished his Spanish courses! He’s currently finishing school as a dual major in Photography and Film. He’s even gotten a photo of our little man chosen as best in photography and 3 of his photos were featured at his school art exhibit! I couldn’t be more proud!
Me, Mama- I’ve had an extraordinary year. I continue to work with amazing brands like Pampers and Dennys. I’ve had the opportunity to share my voice and see changes in toys my kids play like with Barbie. I’ve traveled and been a speaker at different conferences. I opened up an etsy shop and I’ve kept GUBlife evolving for 7 years and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my family and you, our GUBfriends! I can’t wait for what 2017 brings.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the conversations, activities, and heritage we bring to GUBlife. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next as we celebrate 10yrs of marriage, year 8 of blogging, and birthdays 8 + 9 with the kiddos! Stay tuned we have some surprises in store!
Check out our Vlogmas videos and until next year, Happy Holidays!
