Buying Organic Produce just got easier and more affordable at Walmart. I was never that mom that looked at labels but as my family has grown i’ve become more aware of the options we have when buying produce.
The produce department is the first stop on our shopping trip and a good 30% of what goes in our carts for the week. This past week we were on the look out for the purple labels of Organic Marketside produce.
I found it so easy to spot what was organic in the produce department. Not only were the labels on the racks sticking out and bright but the products are now labeled too. You can find the USDA Organic seal label on both packaging and rack labels!
While our store had a great selection I’ve learned there are around 50 Marketside organic items in the produce department.
Items like avocados, apples packaged salads, carrots, broccoli, onion, kale, rainbow chard, grapes, potatoes, strawberries and even juice!
We purchased apples for $3.97 , carrots for $1.98 and packaged baby spinach $3.28. I loved finding small and large packages of spinach something we go thru pretty fast!
We used our first Organic Marketside produce to make a Simple Smoothie. It really is super simple.

Our family uses the most produce in smoothies and dinner meals. Now that I know I can purchase Organic fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price I will be sure to keep eyes out for the purple label and you should too.

Tip: If your berries don’t provide a chill drink crush some ice with your smoothie!
I love that my kids enjoyed our favorite smoothie with Organic produce. The fruits and veggies were fresh and so easy to find at my local Walmart. I look forward to purchasing more Organic produce and checking out the variety Walmart has to offer.
