I can still remember sitting on a tiny stool and looking up at a tiny television in my grandparents room to watch Sesame Street. It was our Sesame Street tradition we watch every morning. My cousins and I would watch, laugh, and sing. We always hoped one day we’d get to Sesame Street.
So imagine my excitement when we moved to the East Coast and we learned Sesame Place was as close as I’d ever get myself and the kiddos to Sesame Street. My first reaction was mouth wide open saying OMG!
I was on Sesame Street with my kids!
All of our favorite pals were there too Bert, Ernie, Elmo and Abby!!!
My kids have enjoyed watching Sesame Street on TV but also on Youtube. I’ve showed them my favorite Sesame Street Clip of Bert doing the Pigeon and the reason I didn’t feel so weird growing up being a bilingual speaker : Rosita! Rosita made me feel normal knowing and understanding English and Spanish!
My kids have always been surrounded by something Sesame Street related from toys, books, stuffed animals and even diapers!
We love Elmo more than we can say and I’ve had the opportunity to share my Sesame Street Love in so many different ways!
Continue the Sesame Street Tradition
This is why I am so excited to share and ask you to join me in continuing the tradition of watching Sesame Street with our Kids!
