We have a set date when the movers come 🙂 kinda a scary because plans are changing, as all things military usually do last minute.
We leave Cali next week!!! We decided to leave a few days earlier than planned since all dates had been switched and there is really no use in being in an empty apartment. We might as well use that time to hit the road and get to our destination early!
In other news we had our pre housing inspection (Military housing must) all went well until the inspector woke up Little lady from her beauty nap. Other than that all good! we should have our final one next week also.
And as if I wasn’t busy enough I decided to start the Nike training club (It’s an app on the Iphone. Yes, the hubs got me an early mother’s day gift he also got himself one his is an early father’s day gift lol ) I figured it’s a great way to keep occupied while watching the kids play and lose some of the baby weight. For starters I have never worked out in my life other than school. yes indeed very sad. At 5% i was dying i had to stop but im determined and i will have another shot in 2 days. I went with the casual work out plan since I’ve never done this.
The kids have been dealing OK with the move so far they have destroyed a couple boxes but we try to keep them on schedule as much as possible.
we even visited Sea world for the first and last time 🙁 I think this move is a bigger deal to me than the kids or the hubs needless to say its very hard to start saying goodbye.
Spanish word of the week has been “por favor” which means please. this hasn’t stuck as much as basura but i wanted little man to start saying please so we say it in both languages back to back .
ex: Can i have that toy please / por favor ?
We have also encounter a certain problem with little man. He has become a glutton. He will literally stuff everything on his plate no matter the size for no good reason. He will practically be choking unable to chew or keep his mouth shut. I really don’t know what to do. I have tried it all from cutting things in small portions, to separating his foods, to even giving him one thing at a time. He has also made it a habit to chew on meats for hours. He will suck the flavor out of them and never chew or swallow. I’m hoping this is just a phase.
The terrible twos have arrived and he isn’t even two for another 2 months.
Little lady has also caught an attitude mainly with her dad since he tends to give in to most of her diva requests. She is so independent also. She eats finger foods alone while sitting a the kids table with her brother and if she isn’t eatign with him she will do anything in her power to get there including tossing his plate out. I guess to her if she isn’t eating no one can. DIVA!
Happy Wednesday everyone!
p.s. Never really celebrated cinco de mayo in my life. Kinda always saw it more of an American holiday known for drinking liquor(tequila/ margaritas ) and eating mexican food. and FYI it’s not Mexican Independence Day that is Sept. 16th.
