It’s officially 2012! We had an amazing time celebrating the beginning of the year.
Much like last year, we took the kids to the Please Touch Museum in Philly for their Countdown to Noon event Where little man and little lady held up their number 1’s and yelled out “Happy Noon Year” Their was great entertainment and music again by Louie Miranda and his band.
We also were able to enjoy the museum before the big countdown! The kids truly enjoy the water station. Its always hard to pull them away from there. We also explored the transportation station where the kids pretended to drive little cars and even ride the bus!
They also have this really cool new magnetic wall that kids were busy sticking shapes and letters. My favorite of course the pretend play of what looked like a typical Lunch Truck! Little man pretended to be making sandhiwches as little lady was busy asking for “milk, peanut butter & jelly and cheeze-its” heehee!

Overall the celebration was a nice one. The kids had a blast at the museum early in the day and went to sleep over grandma’s for the night so dad and I can enjoy ringing in the new year with the adults!
Happy 2012!
