It’s not everyday that we are out and approached by total strangers. I must admit though it has happened to us twice this life time.
The first time we were out at lunch it was one of the first time we went out with both kids sitting in high chairs. The Hubs and I sat across from each other and the kids did the same that way if something went terribly wrong one of us was close by to act fast. We noticed an older couple kept starring at us but figured it was no big deal. We have always been looked at “different” especially now as a family of 4. We were well into our meals when the lady who had been admiring us from a far came over to our table and said “I had to come over to tell you before we left that your children are absolute angels they are so very well behaved and you two are incredible parents.” My heart skipped a beat and i knew then that we truly were a great perfect family!
Today as we were off on another outing I was approached by another lady and her husband. She felt the need to stop me before we left to let me know that we are such a great family. That she admired from a far and loved everything she saw. She said i had such a great helping husband and that my children were well behaved. she wanted to commend us on being a great family 🙂 My heart melted away…
does this happen to everyone?
My kids are good but not saints. They are like most kids i guess they have good days and bad days. Today was an OK day. Little man sat just like us for the first time no booster seat (i know he is growing way too fast) and little lady was in the booster seat no more high chair(and she stayed put!) they booth ate all their food and they even scored some dessert!
It’s been interesting being the parent of 2 toddlers but i wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I love my perfect little family!
Happy Monday!
