We finally experienced Six Flags Fright Fest and we did it as a family!
We were invited to SixFlags Great Adventure for Media Preview day and It was such a great time.
I was worried that the kids would be to scared but Six Flags did a great job of turning the park into Halloween spirit without freaking out kids during Thrills by day.
Our first stop was the bloody fountain Little man and Little Lady were so excited to see RED WATER!
We also went on a few rides one being Houdinis Great Escape. While the kids have never been on adult like rides before this was the perfect feel for the Halloween season! They were a bit scared but def. set the fun tone for the rest of the afternoon!
Our last stop was the Trick or Treat Trail and Character Meet and Greet! The kids loved collecting their treats from the characters It was really cute and the treats were super yummy thanks to SNICKERS!

Once 4pm hit we had set up to have the kids picked up by grandmommy to so dad and I could experience Frights by Night!
We had lunch with the monsters and They kept creeping up on us. I will admit I am not a fan of anything scary or dark but the hubs is wild about attending this like this every year so I took part in the Frights for the hubs (you owe me one)
I loved that all monsters stayed in character it made the experiences that much fun… and real.
My favorite show was definitely “The Awakening” it was such a great parade/show with lots of dancing!
The hubs and I went through a few of the trails They were very gruesome. The Monster popped out from everywhere. The trails also had photos taken which I had never seen before at other mazes.
Unfortunately the rain made us call it an early night. We will definitely be returning!
