My family loves Family Movie Time. This weekend my family received an advance copy of Star Wars The Force Awakens in Blu-Ray DVD! We had to celebrate in a big way so I threw our family a Star Wars Sundae Party! Since our family is divided in all the fun ways We had a Light Side Sundae and a Dark Side Sundae!
I shopped my local Walmart for all our Sundae Bar goodies. From ice cream, sundae toppings, party supplies, and even Star Wars toys!
Walmart has a variety of Star Wars party supplies to choose from.I loved the variety of plates, goodie bags, prizes, and even masks! Little Man already asked for a Star Wars Birthday party this summer! But for now, I had to stay focus on making our party one to remember so I went with things my family loves, like toys and themed food!
The Light Side Star Wars Sundae
For the Light Side Star Wars Sundae, Our friend Finn lead us down the toppings of mini Recess pieces (that totally reminded us of our friend BB8), some pecans, and mini Nilla Wafers. We put those toppings over vanilla ice cream with some whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel!
The Dark Side Star Wars Sundae
For the Dark Side Sundae, we had chocolate ice cream, topped with whipped cream, oreo cookie pieces, mini marshmallows, a cherry and a drizzle of chocolate fudge!
Star Wars Sundaes: The Light Side + The Dark Side
I had simple decor. For the Sundae signs, I used a piece of cardstock folded into a tent. I wrote light side and the dark side and added cute Star Wars stickers!
I also purchased orange and black spoons for each side. I love that Walmart offers a variety of solid colored party supplies at an affordable price. We were going to go red and blue but We love BB8 so much we wanted orange to be present!
We also have been collecting Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures and both Finn and The SandTrooper are available at Walmart! Along with BB8, Darth, and The StormTroopers and other great Star Wars Funko Pop Figures
Star Wars: The Force Awakens DVD is now available at Walmart! It comes with special packaging and collectible Galactic Connexions Trading Discs available only at Walmart!
