Remember when everyone was talking about Zucchini spaghetti? Ya well, I was the person thinking “Who sits there to ribbon the noodles?” So when I saw the Veggetti Pro in action earlier this month I nearly lost my mind for 3 reasons!
One, here it was the magic tool I knew existed! Two, it was so easy to use!!! And three, it was too easy to clean up!!!
When the Veggetti Pro arrived I wanted to make something easy so I made chips! Who doesn’t love chips?
The Veggetti Pro comes assembled out of the box, i’m guessing so we know where each compartment goes. It comes with three stainless steel blades two of which have a home within the Veggetti Pro. They snap in and out with ease. It comes apart into 3 pieces not including the blades and I was able to pop all of it into the dishwasher with no problem!
The Veggetti Pro has 2 locks one for the actual part you are spinning and moving forward- it locks it into place so it can’t move backwards. It also has a non-slip suction to keep it in place while in use.
The blades are: Thin Spiral, Thick spiral and Ribbon Cut.
I used the Ribbon Cut blade to create some easy round chips with my fresh zucchini! The best part is making chips with different flavors and spending time experimenting with the flavors since the cutting process is so easy!
Make Zucchini Chips with the Veggetti Pro
- 1/2 cups of Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp ground chipotle chili pepper
- 1 large zucchini
- coconut cooking spray
- Mix the brown sugar, paprika, and chipotle until well combined. This will make more than enough chip seasoning.
- Ribbon your zucchini in a Veggetti Pro
- Set oven at 375F degrees
- Separate the zucchini ribbon to form chip circles
- Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray
- Place zucchini circles on baking sheet
- Sprinkle zucchini with brown sugar mixture
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden
- Remove from heat and allow chips to cool
- Enjoy
My chips were perfectly crisp and had a flavorful kick! If you’re not into spicy i’d go light on the seasoning otherwise go heavy and enjoy the kick!
Easy clean up with the Veggetti Pro
And the cool part after enjoying chips, Well, the easy clean up!!! See how it all fits great into my top rack. It’s all settled in for a night in the dishwasher!
Next with the Veggetti Pro, I’ll finally make Zucchini Spaghetti!!! Stay tuned!
