12 Books to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

October 7, 2013 Leave a Comment

hispanic heritage month celebration 2013

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to an end, I wanted to share some of the favorites things our family liked to do to celebrate our heritage, all week long. While it’s nice to celebrate all month long, my efforts for Little Man and Little Lady to be proud of their heritage is constant.

With Little Man now in school, reading time is more important than ever. He is constantly sharing more about what he learns in school but it’s important for him and Little Lady to share who they are too. I want them to grow up proud of who they are and really have a sense of where they come from.
