Family Travel in a 2017 Mazda CX9

Disclosure: We were loaned a Mazda CX9 for review purposes only.

Soon traveling is going to be challenging as a family of 5. We need to be sure the vehicle we have is not only comfortable and safe but also can fit our growing family. Luckily we’re able to test vehicles to get a feel for them. Recently, We took a family vacation to Florida and traveled in a 2017 Mazda cx9. We also brought along grandmommy and pop-pop for the fun. That’s 4 adults and 2 kids!

Little Man and Little Lady are hard critics. They’ve been spoiled in other vehicles but I was happy to see them content in the Mazda cx9. Our trip from the airport parking to dinner was enjoyable as we fit all our luggage and family comfortably.

Just look at this trunk space! The Mazda cx9 fit 3 carry-on suitcases, 4 backpacks/totes and 1 large suitcase! It was great use of space and we were able to unload and bring up additional seating while still having enough space for our backpacks and other small items.

Little Man and Little Lady are no longer in car seats so it was nice to have them fit comfortably while still having their lunch, backpacks and games out.

Hubs also loved being able to get his photography gear in the trunk with lots of room to lay out his gear. It was a multipurpose vehicle during our family vacation!
