Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.

January 19, 2015 Leave a Comment

CELEBRATING MLK

We’ve always made it a priority to teach the kids about Black History and of course who Martin Luther King Jr. was and his importance to our world! Now that they are in school they come home excited to share what school teaches them but as a parent I know I must continue to discover ways to teach the kids about Black History.

It’s never to early to discuss great leaders and history with kids. Something as small as coloring a picture or reading a book can start a conversation and create a memory for your kids and family.

Here are a few ways we’ve celebrated MLK and a few other great resources from blogger friends that we think you may enjoy.
