We had the best surprise for the kids this past Friday. I drove out to San Diego to pick up the hubs from the airport and brought him to the kids.
I left before they woke up so already they were suspicious I was up to something. I had mentioned I had a HUGE surprise soon.
When the hubs and I got to my parent’s home I had my brother bring out the kids. I told them “Are you ready for your surprise”
When the hubs jumped from behind the car they were so shocked! They ran to Daddy for hugs and couldn’t stop talking.
This was them during our car ride to lunch. They asked daddy to ride in the back with them. Talk about missing daddy!
It’s been a great weekend and half week with the hubs. Unfortunately we will NOT be going back with him. We have extended our vacation a few more weeks while I finish up some work. I am not ready to tell the kids that we need to drop daddy off at the airport. I know it will be hard for all of us but we will see him soon.
I am happy about the time we have had and that dad was able to join us for this GUBcaion! Stay tuned for all the places we’ve visited.
