During the holiday break our family loves to watch movies, cook together and of course eat! With kiddos, family fun is better when we plan  for a special family movie with a snack. Our first pick was When The Game Stands Tall  a combination of sports and life lessons a total family movie night pick!

The movie

When The Game Stands Tall is inspired by a true story about the first H.S. football team to have 151 streak! Life happens and this movie shows how winning and losing isn’t always what the game is about. A true story about brotherhood, commitment and forgiveness. A must watch movie!

Snack Time

But before we all got comfy on the couch, a snack had to be made! You can’t always just have popcorn! Since we have kiddos something easy to make and eat was in order!

So we made Chicken Salad in a cup paired with our favorite chips, crackers and veggies!

Overall, When The Game Stands Tall is a great movie for the family. It sparked a conversation in our own family. We even had the chance to set out a few goals to make us a better Family Team. From simple things to lending a helping hand to not taking bad things so seriously. For the hubs and I it was more of an encouragement to keep each other on track and supporting each other in our marriage goals, family goals, and personal growth goals.

Find When the Game Stands Tall($24.96) on Blu-ray and DVD at Walmart!

Do you have any Family Fun ideas? We’d love to hear them!
