It’s Summer Grilling season and for us that means time to make our classic favorites! We grill a lot both indoors and outdoors. One of my favorite grilled meals is Uncle’s burgers! He taught the hubs and I to add more than just meat to the meat patty and we’ve never looked back. These are by far the best burgers we’ve made!

Now when we make burgers for dinner or family get togethers we know 3 ingredients are a must- Onions, green pepper and Worcestershire sauce!

When making burgers always go for a higher fat ground beef because it keeps the burgers nice and juicy. We love picking up Walmart’s All Natural 80% Lean 20% Fat Ground Beef Chuck. From a 2lb package we make 8 nice sized burgers to feed our crowd.

How to make Burger Patties

Add 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce per 1lb of ground beef.

Add chopped green pepper and onion about 1 1/4 cups per 1lb ground beef.

Mix until well combined.

Add 1/2 tbs of season all seasoning or salt and pepper to taste per 1lb of meat

And an egg per 1lb of ground beef if you patties aren’t staying together. This helps bind them nice for easier flipping too!

Remember: If you’re cooking up 2lbs of meat double up the ingredients.

Once combined use a burger patty press like this one from Walmart for under $5or use your hands to mold a round patty no more than an inch thick. We also recommend a burger press like this one from Walmart under $12

Perfect Burgers for grilling indoors and outdoors
