When I was preggo with my son I saw the cutest doll at the store. There was 2 reasons why I had to have it 1- it sang Spanish lullabies and 2- it had my mothers nickname. I didn’t get it right away. I regretted that later when I couldn’t find it. I went searching for it and finally it was mine!!!
I had taken it over to my parent’s home everyone was having a blast with it. Recently my mom brought it back to my house so my son could play with it. I really didn’t think he was interested but he was. He loved pressing its hand and hearing it sing.
I had forgotten the doll was in the house until I went around rearranging their toys and it was a blessing a disguise.
This doll is just what I needed for my son to listen to me speak Spanish a little more. The doll is Amazing.
This is just one of the things I’m using to teach him Spanish.
I didn’t know the words in some of the lullabies. I went online to try and get the words and I came across even more great stuff.
At the dolls website Baby Abuelita they have all the words to the lullabies but they also have coloring pages, videos, and even cute birthday cards.
I think I was most excited about the videos I’ve attached one because its so cute and it had little man and little lady stuck to my computer screen.
The best part of this doll is that the same lullabies it’s now helping me sing to my kids are the same ones my grandmother and mother would sing to me when I was a kid.
