Summers with my family are full of outdoor fun, water play, and lots of ice cold drinks! What can I say we’thirsty! From aguas frescas, lemonade, and ice teas, I always keep drinks on hand ready to go. The key to surviving summer with my family is really our hydration station!
Now we’ve had our share of ready to serve spout containers. I make a batch of some deliciousness and just keep refilling it.
I recently upgraded our summer hydration station to this 1-gallon twin drink dispenser and ice bucket by The Pioneer Woman from Walmart. As you know Walmart was the first to carry her line and I love it! I’m happy to add this one to my collection!
I find that now that the kids are doing things independently I just have to leave things ready for them to grab. This includes drinks! I enjoy being able to spend more time doing fun things than making sure everyone’s drink is filled during family fun time.
This week our family has just got back from a long road trip. I made sure to make some of their favorites. This summer they are loving strawberry lemonade and lemon iced tea! I like going the easy route and have no problem getting premade drinks and adding fresh lemons or fruits.
Walmart also has The Pioneer Woman’s Mason jars with lids and straws in several cute colors. I leave these out for the kids and they know which is theirs and just keep it filled on their own.
Thinking of starting a hydration station of your own? Here are a few of our favorite drink recipes that will be great to keep your family quenched! They’re also perfect for ready to serve drink dispensers!
