Stiletto Media is a general and Hispanic social media marketing company that works with all types of bloggers. They connect bloggers to brands via events, blog campaigns and more. In attendance at the Kick Off Your Heels event were a variety of bloggers, including fashion, beauty, coupon, Mompreneurs and more Latina bloggers than I count!
Stiletto media held two events on August 5, 2011, one on Twitter and one at BlogHer 11. I attended both! The live event, held at the Omni San Diego’s 6th floor terrace provided bloggers with a variety of amenities. We were able to socialize with other bloggers, as well as meet representatives of Go Red Por Tu Corazon, taste the yummiest, green, butter like Avocados from Mexico, enjoy massages, and dance! The music was on point. The DJ played a variety of music including Spanish songs to set the mood. I believe Migdalia Rivera, the Founder of Stiletto Media, and Carolyn Gonzalez, the Event Coordinator, hit the dance floor as soon as the first song started playing! It was an awesome night topped off with fireworks, Dodge shuttle service to and from your hotel and a photo booth to remember the night. Oh, and how could I forget the cutest swag bags!
They also served a Stiletto Media signature drink called the “Pink Stilettini”, among others as well. It was originally called the “Purple Stilettini”, but I was told by Migdalia and Carolyn, that the drink was renamed after they arrived and saw the color. Regardless of what they called their signature drink, it was perfect and lethal. I was even able to find out what made the drink so spectacular. Be forewarned, trying this at home can make you strut!

According to Migdalia, Stiletto Media plans on hosting another event next year at BlogHer 12. If they do, I highly suggest you attend!
Here’s what other bloggers had to say about the event.
“After we were done causing erections along 5th Avenue, we headed over to Stiletto Media’s Kick Off Your Heels Party. One word: AMAZING This was one of my favorite events at BlogHer that didn’t involve getting shitfaced and dancing. Migdalia knows how to throw a party! It had all of the things women love: makeup, fancy cocktails, delicious food, a beautiful outdoor venue with a fireplace, and MASSAGES!
