Easter Recipe: Very Berry Chocolate Cheesecake

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post as a participant in the Walmart Moms Program.

Easter is almost here! One of my favorite parts of my families get-togethers during the holidays is the feast of desserts! I’ve always been known for my easy no bake style cheesecake. This year Walmart gave me the opportunity to get a little creative in my kitchen and Creative I was!!!

Using Pillsbury Blue Raspberry cookie mix  and Super Snackpack pudding I was set to create a delicious cheesecake for my family that took little effort and almost no bake time, thus the Very Berry Chocolate Cheesecake was born!

To make this delicious Very Berry Chocolate Cheesecake you will need:

•1 box of Blue Raspberry Premium Cookie Mix by Pillsbury
•1 egg (per cookie mix instructions)
• 1 Stick of butter (per cookie mix instructions)
•3 Super Snack Pack Puddings in Creamy Chocolate
•1 package of cream cheese
•1 tub of Cool Whip
•1/2 cup of sugar
•2 cups of Blackberries
Find the Pillsbury cookie mix and Super Snack packs at your local Walmart for a great low price!

Let’s Make the cookie crust!

Using Pillsbury’s Blue Raspberry Cookie Mix, incorporate the ingredients as directed on the box that is the egg and the butter. Have a handy helper help with the mixing! Once all combined pat down the cookie dough in a greased pie dish. Bake as directed on the box for cookies or until the crust becomes a little dark with golden colors.

TIPS: Poke holes before baking so the crust doesn’t bubble. Also don’t use all the dough the thinner the crust the faster it cooks and the more filling you can have!

Let’s Make the NO-Bake Cheesecake filling!

In a bowl mix together the cool whip, cream cheese and sugar. Mix until there are no more bumps from the cream cheese. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Let’s Make Blackberry Drizzle sauce!

Choose your favorite fresh berries from Walmart we love Blackberries. Load berries in food processor and blend until a puree. Give it a taste If it looks too thick add a little water. If it taste to tart add a little sugar. Pass the berry puree thru a strainer to remove the seeds and place the sauce into a ziplock for later use.

Now let’s put this Very Berry Chocolate Cheesecake together!

After your crust cools, add 3 cups of Super Snack Pack Creamy Chocolate pudding. Spread evenly over the cookie crust. Over the top of the pudding, spread your no bake cheesecake filling. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Serve and enjoy!

Your cheesecake is best while it is still cold. Freeze for 30 minutes if you’d like to get a great texture easy for cutting. Remove from refrigeration when you are ready to serve. Leaving it out will cause the ingredients to turn to mush making it hard to serve.

Serve your Very Berry Chocolate Cheesecake with a drizzle of Blackberry Sauce for the perfect combination of flavors. This Easter dessert recipe is one to impress the family!

Make it Kid-Friendly!

Using the same ingredients for the Very Berry Chocolate Cheesecake you can make these Kid-Friendly Treat Pops!

Using the treat pop punch out the cookies for the perfect size for the pops. Layer in any order We tried cookie, pudding, cheesecake filling, blackberry sauce and repeat! At the top instead of more berry sauce crumble some of the cookie and enjoy!

The kids will surely loved them and you will too!
