7 Things We Learned in 7 Years of Marriage

July 7, 2014 Leave a Comment

7 years of marriage! Yes I can’t believe we’ve been married for 7 years! Our relationship has been an roller-coaster with high moments and low moments and some living on the edge but thru it all we had each other and we’ve survived!

We married 7/6/07 but really we were going for the lucky 7/7/07 🙂 Blame the courthouse!

(Bottom) When we married in 2007

We’ve learned a lot in the 8 years since we met and got together. From a long distance relationship to a cross country move and 2 kids later it’s been quite the ride I tell you!

The hubs and I decided to share what 7 things we’ve learned in 7 years of marriage

He said:
-Patience
-Understanding
-Compromising
-Making time for each other
-Being Open-minded
-Being a Team
-Letting her Win (she’s competitive)

She said:
-Forgiveness
-Compromise
-Depending on HIM
-Being supportive
-Understanding
-Picking battles
-Learning our Love language

It’s been eventful and I know the years to come won’t be any different! After all, Life for us has been an  adventure filled with new traditions and we don’t plan on changing that!
