I finally invested in an ice cream maker this summer! I can’t tell you how long i’ve wanted one. I bought it for a very specific reason too, a craving! A craving i’ve had for far too long for homemade peach cobbler ice cream. Peaches are in season so this was perfect timing!
My family loves stone fruit. From nectarines to Peaches we stock up when they’re in season. We shopped for deliciously golden ripe peaches at Walmart for my peach cobbler ice cream and I almost had to hide them!

What you need for Homemade Peach Cobbler Ice Cream
Ingredients Yields 1.5 qts You will need an ice cream maker
Peach cobbler crumbles
–4 medium peaches peeled and sliced
1 pie crust
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Ice Cream Base
–1 1/2 cups of Heavy Cream
–1/2 cup of sweet condensed milk
–1 cup of Whole Milk
–1/4 tsp cinnamon
–1 tbs vanilla extract
–1/8 tsp salt
Bake pie crust on a cookie sheet. Cool to room temperature and crumble into a dish.
Place sliced peaches on a cookie sheet sprinkle generously with half of the brown sugar at 350F until all sugar is melted and peaches are soft.
Remove from heat into a dish and sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar and toss until the sugar is completely melted. Cool to room temperature.
Once cooled toss both the pie crust and peaches together and set aside.
Tip: If your peach slices are too big you can dice them for a finer not so chunky ice cream.
In a dish, mix whole milk, condensed milk, heavy cream, salt cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Prepare your ice cream maker and make according to it’s directions.
I used the new Oster 1.5qt gel canister ice cream maker and my ice cream was done in 20 minutes!
I started my machine and added my ice cream base. About 15 minutes in the ice cream to begins to freeze and this is when I slowly begin to mix in my peach cobbler crumbles. I don’t mix in all my crumbles because I like to save some to manually mix in and for toppings later!
After your ice cream is made, place it into a dish cover and freeze until desired consistency. I like to wait 24hrs for my ice cream to be perfect!
The ice cream will be rich in flavor and have great texture with the peach cobbler crumbles.
Don’t forget to serve with fresh peaches and extra peach cobbler crumbles!
