With just a few days until Mother’s Day be sure you get mom the gift that matters most- Your honest loving words! It’s not too late to put your heart to paper. I wanted to honor my mother for all she does and this year I wrote a heartfelt card. I know she will appreciate receiving it because to my mom hearing how we feel and showing her with actions tops any other gift we could have spent money on.
After watching Hallmark’s videos of Children discussing how they feel about their mother’s my heart was full. I was inspired instantly to write out how I felt about my mom.
Watch Emilio talk about his mom:
You see simple questions like the ones Emilio was asked provoke beautiful thoughts and memories of why our moms mean so much. So this Mother’s Day do things a little different and “Put you heart to paper”
Hallmark offers a variety of cards for Mother’s Day to inspire you to write some heartfelt words.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself when writing about your mom:
What does your mom make you feel?
How has your mom showed you she cares?
What has your mom done that has meant the world to you?
What does your mom do that inspires you to be great?
How do you show your love to your mom?
If you can call your mom right now to tell her how much she means to you, without using the words love or thank you, what would you say?
Expressing myself thru words and putting my heart to paper has been the greatest way I communicate my feelings. The best part is having the feelings on paper to read to over and over. As a mom the words my kids write about me mean so much I know exactly how my mom feels when she gets cards from me now.
How are you inspired to #PutYourHeartToPaper this Mother’s day?
