Recently I read a blog, (can’t remember which one) mommy blogger said finding friends before kids can be hard but it gets harder once you’re a mom. I couldn’t agree more, but i’d like to add that finding kiddos for my kids to play with can be difficult also.
I had my share of friends in So Cal but still it was difficult to find a balance with the kids and parenting styles of my friends.
Now in South Jersey it’s become a mission to even find a friend to talk to that’s not hours away so no mama friends= no kiddie friends for little man and little lady.
Little man and Little lady are the babies of the family and the neighborhood.
So I jumped on a website in search of a playgroup around my area. Most of them were already “full” or so they stated. When I finally was about to give up i found one and it even had a spanglish name, it was very cute. I wrote to them to get information on how to join and I am still waiting for a response. This was about 2 months ago. le sigh!
We tried the park in our area but most of the kids there all elementary aged . no Tots.
I’m thinking of maybe going to this bounce place for kiddos.
I want my kids to interact with others kids. It would be great to gain mommy friends in the process but i guess for now we are just the new kids on the block.
Happy Friday!
